When to use these templates?

A Proposal is used after you have met with a client and discussed potential work. It's like a secondary pitch. The Proposal is the scope, timeline, process and costs associated with working with you. A Client Agreement is used after you have sent a Proposal or a pitch. It is sent to your client after you have agreed to work together; you've agreed on a scope, timeline and pricing (this should all be in your Proposal).

Make sure you attach your Proposal and invoice with your Client Agreement. These are the magic three documents to ensure you and your IP (Intellectual Property) are safe. 

Make sure you get a signature before commencing any work.
